A huge thank you to all students, parents, staff and governors for their kind donations to the Salvation Army appeal. A group of year 7 students and some staff spent the day sorting food donations and wrapping presents for those in need. Excellent effort by all 👏

Christmas Celebration
Christmas Fayre
Y Senedd Aberdâr will be hosting a Christmas Fayre at 5:00 pm prior to the Christmas Concert on Wednesday 18th December. Please come along to not only support our learners at ACS, but to also raise money for local charities and take part in fun activities such as guess the teacher!

Christmas Jumper Day
Dear Parents/Carers,
On Friday 13th December 2019, the school is going to be supporting the Save the Children Fund Christmas Jumper Day.
This means that all pupils will be allowed to wear a Christmas jumper in addition to their normal school uniform. This is NOT a non-school uniform event; as pupils MUST still wear their normal school uniform on that day but can wear an appropriate Christmas Jumper over their existing uniform should they wish to do so. As part of the fundraising element of the day, pupils will be encouraged to donate £1 to charity.
Blazers are not required if wearing a Christmas jumper.
