Vacancy for Parent Governor
The Governing Body of Aberdare Community School has with immediate effect two parent governor vacancies and are looking for parents who are interested in this role. (A parent governor is a person with parental responsibility for a pupil attending the school).

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday February 28th, 2022. Any forms received after the date noted above will not be considered. Please note that an election will be held if more nominations are received than there are vacancies.
The timetable for this election process is as follows -
Distribution of nomination forms – Wednesday February 16th 2022
Closing date for receipt of nominations forms – Monday 28th February 2022 (noon)
Distribution of ballot papers (if applicable) –Friday March 4th 2022
Receipt of ballot papers – Friday 11th March 2022 (noon)
Ballot papers counted and result announced – Monday March 14th 2022
