Recently a group of computing MAT pupils took part in the UK Computational Thinking Challenge. Three of our pupils performed so well they have now progressed to the next round and been invited to participate in the TCS Oxford University Computing Challenge.
Only the top 10% of performing pupils across the whole of the UK progress to the next round, therefore, as you can imagine, this is a fantastic achievement for these pupils. The competition is split into 2 categories:
Senior - KS4
Junior - KS3
The following Pupils have been successful in reaching the next round:
Senior – Year 10 – Jack Jones
Junior – 8G1 – Jay Hayton and Seren Pugh
Congratulations all!
