Aberdare Community School is delighted to announce their fourth set of A Level results and would like to congratulate all of the students and staff for their hard work and commitment. A fantastic 97% of Year 13 students secured level 3 qualifications. The percentage of A* - C grades at A Level was 75%, with over 26% of students achieving the top grades of A*/A. The vast majority of students securing their first choice university place. This is a fantastic achievement.
Top performances came from the following individuals:
• Sian Russell - 2A*, 3 As: (Bristol – Mathematics)
• Rebecca Adams - 2A* and 2 As
• Weili Pan - 2A*, 4 Bs (Bath: Mathematics)
• Megan Cox - 1 A*, 2As and a B (Cardiff – Medical Pharmacology)
• Abbie Evans – 3As and a C (Cardiff – Law)
Additionally in their BTEC Studies the following students were successful in attaining top grades:

We are also proud of the fourteen students who attained unconditional offers for their choice of course at University.
Additionally, in Year 12, students have highly achieved in their first year of ‘A’ level study, with Jessica Marie Evans securing 4 A grades at A/S level.
